Our Process
From the first call to the final test.
Every installation follows the same order, whether it is a like-for-like tank or a first heat pump unit.
You call
Tell us what you have now: the heater's age, size and fuel, and where it sits. You get a price range and an appointment time.
The site is checked
Space, venting, the gas line or circuit, and the water supply are checked against the unit you need. Private wells get a look at the pressure tank and filter.
You get a firm price
The price is confirmed before anything is removed, with any extras such as a chimney liner, expansion tank or new circuit listed.
Permits are filed
A licensed plumber files the plumbing permit, and a licensed gas fitter the gas permit, as Massachusetts requires.
The heater is installed
The old unit is drained and removed, and the new one is set, piped, vented and connected.
Tested and explained
The heater is leak-tested, fired or powered up and set to temperature, and you are shown the shut-off and relief valve.
